The Strategic Stakeholder Engagement Inspiration Session introduces participants to the SSE method in half a day. During this interactive and practice-oriented meeting, you will learn what the essential skills of environmentally focused work are and how to apply them. At the end of the session, you will understand the broad outline of SSE and what organizations expect from stakeholder engagement professionals.

What you will do in the SSE Inspiration Session
Many organizations are increasingly realizing that complex challenges cannot be solved alone. Whether it concerns area development, the energy transition, water management, or social issues: more and more parties are involved, and interests can clash. This demands a way of working in which organizations and professionals actively involve their environment, pay attention to mutual relationships, and prevent surprises.
Strategic Stakeholder Engagement is a method, vision, and approach that offers professionals tools for carefully engaging with stakeholders. During the inspiration session, you will be introduced to SSE and the basic principles of a stakeholder oriented practice. In interaction with your colleagues, you will engage in an accessible way with the typical dilemmas in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
Inspiration sessions are always customized. The practical examples are tailored to the sector or organization of the participants, and the interactive methods address common challenges in the daily practice of colleagues. We conclude with a joint reflection and, if desired, a lunch or drinks.
Who is the Inspiration Session SSE for?
This inspiration session is intended for anyone who deals extensively with both internal and external stakeholders. For example, are you a project leader, environmental manager, neighborhood or area director, communications advisor, program manager, policy officer, or strategic advisor? And is part of your job to bring the outside world in and vice versa? Then this session is interesting for you, your colleagues, and managers.
